Baby and Me Tobacco Free!

Did you know that if you are pregnant and a smoker (or quit to become pregnant), you and a family member can both earn FREE diapers to quit smoking through a program at the Health Department?  Well, you can.  You will be given a $50 diaper gift card for your second and third trimester and then for 6 months after your baby arrives when you quit and stay quit.  You can receive up to $700 in diaper cards just for doing something that is the best gift you can give your new baby, as quitting can reduce the risk of complications in pregnancy and birth. You are more likely to have a healthier pregnancy and a healthier baby, as well as reduce the risk of stillbirth. Your baby is less likely to be born too early and must face the breathing, feeding, and health problems that often go with being premature.
